A dual pass intercooler
like this is the most efficient design for street type application, but
there must be enough room in the front of the car for the height.
As you can see, the Denso
intercooler on the right is not as big in core size as it appears, &
it's only the actual core that does 99% of the cooling. Have to be
careful or you can be misled into thinking the oe. 'cooler will be more
efficient than it is.
Makes for a very efficient, compact design with very short pipe
lengths for a front mount.
